There are two types of AI: narrow AI and general AI. Narrow AI, also known as weak AI, is designed to perform specific tasks within a limited domain. Examples include voice assistants like Siri, recommendation algorithms used by streaming platforms, and autonomous driving systems. General AI, on the other hand, refers to highly autonomous systems that possess human-level intelligence and can handle a wide range of tasks.
